Great little family owned restaurant!The food was delicious!And the portions were huge!The best part was the fact that I felt like I got good value for my money, which is hard to find these days!The Kelftiko, is a roast lamb dish, which is the best lamb I’ve ever had!My wife loved the mousaka, a classic Greek dish, and the kids had some very tender chicken kabobs!We will be back!!!

Beautiful Decor, Great service and best of all... Food was great. We had the platter for 2 and a Greek salad and it satisfied the 3 of us. Thanks for being so try hard!

We are new to Okotoks and ordered delivery for the first time from here. It was delicious! The chicken souvlaki was great! I had a chicken souvlaki with a Greek salad and the lemon potatoes. So so good. Will definitely order again

The owner made us feel like family, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. We had a family dinner here and I can't say enough good things about Plaka - crispy calamari, the tzatziki is out of this world, the braised lamb was so tender and the bougasta is a must try. This place is a must if you're in Okotoks!

This place was amazing, it was cute and cozy . The service was great and the staff was happy. My wife and I got the dinner platter for 2 and it was more than enough for both of us! We brought our 4 month old baby, and she fussed a bit but the staff where totally fine with it and it made the experience even better!Needless to say, if you are in Okotoks and you are looking for a great date spot or a family friendly place that is affordable and not fast food then Plaka is the place to go!

What a great Greek restaurant. Delicious food and very friendly staff. I highly recommend the saganaki and the dinner platter for two. You probably won't be able to finish it but its absolutely delicious.

Great Greek Food, service was a tad slow, but it was eating rush hour when we were there, it was busy. Service was friendly. Definitely worth going to again.

Ordered 2 platters last night at $25 each. The meat was dry, burnt and tasteless. The amount of meat was a disgrace! The 1 potatoe was sloppy and undercooked. The rice was hmm ok. Overall for $50 i felt the need to actually write a review and tell anyone who reads this to go to opa instead!Waste of money. We informed the store but they were not interested. First and last order. Not worth a penny!

Best Mediterranean restaurant in Alberta by far. Service, food, decor... everything is an honour to Greek culture. I love it dearly. I have been over 20 times & they never disappointed me. Thank you for having such a magical restaurant.

This is a nice little restaurant tucked away just of the shopping strip of Okotoks. The food was great and the service but one of the owners was fantastic.

Such a friendly and warm atmosphere. The food was outstanding and the wine suggestions from our server were perfect. Will definitely be back.

Sooooo good!!! Just the right amount, the right flavours, the right service. Great place to go with the girls. And able to stay eating healthy too. Love this place.

If you like Greek food in a nice setting with uber friendly service then this is the place to be. The restaurant emits that typical Mediterranean friendliness and hospitality and the quality of the food is very good. Highly recommended. Thank you Christos for your friendliness and hospitality!

Cant say enough good things about this place! Our lovley server was halarious and she made our exsperiance that much better. YOU NEED TO GET THE APPITIZER PLATTER, FLAMING CHEESE, AND DIP PLATTER. Truely authentic and delisous!

We decided to try a new place for my birthday dinner. Thank the gods we found this place. My new go to for Greek food. The service was fantastic, our server (didn't get his name, but I will next time) was amazingly friendly, and our glasses were never empty. We did the Zeus platter, it was a good thing we were hungry, and we still ended up taking food home. The food was to die for. Everything was amazing. We closed the place, and not once did we feel rush, or like they wanted us to leave. If you go for dinner, don't plan anything else for the night. Everything was paced just right, and we all left very happy.

While the food was delicious and does not represent the 1 star rating, I wish I could say the same for the service. After being seated, 10 minutes had gone by without anyone approaching or providing us menus. At this point my husband got up and helped himself to the stack of menus. Not only did our appetizers come out a good 30 minutes before the rest of our food (with 3 hungry children at the table we had to keep occupied), there was never an explanation as to why or even an apology for the delay. Apart from the slow service, the server was unpleasant and at times short with us when we inquired about where parts of our order were. I cannot speak badly for the food, it was delicious. But unfortunately will not return due to awful service.

Absolute stunning calamari salad, very good best I have had in years . My friend had the vegetarian moussaka and said it was also excellent. The owner/staff were very friendly and the surroundings were very pleasant

Born and raised in Montreal Quebec great location for good restaurants Greek authentic restaurants are very popular I'm a big fan of Greek authentic meals found this place online with awesome reviews finally got the chance to try it I've got to say I was very impressed I've treated myself to an amazing meal plus one of the best baklava and a Irish coffee I'm thinking of coming back and asking the chef to cook me a special unique meal the tour of Greece I hope he'll say yes!!

Wholesome, fresh and quality are words that best describe this restaurant. Plus it's got a cheerful vibe. I'm going to be honest, I don't even love Greek food but was brought here on a date. Everything was so well done that I ended up deciding I do like Greek food. It was especially nice as so many restaurants major failing is lack of fresh and good quality ingredients- which you won't find here. It was honestly so good!I will add who I initially thought was just our waiter turned out to be the owner. He was a lovely person and very charismatic for our family to visit with, as well as his mother who was helping and from Greece as well. Thank you!Come here, you won't regret it!

Delicious meal with good service and nice enough surroundings. Kolokithokeftedes (zucchini fritters) were crisp on the outside, hot and tender inside, served with tzatziki and a great fresh salsa. Mixed grill highlighted the marinated lamb, chicken and beef. A creamy bougatsa (hot custard baked in phyllo pastry) finished the meal perfectly.

Wow!! Plaka's food and staff deserve a 10 star rating. We were up from Edmonton doing some work on the building and chatting with the staff outside, they invited us in for dinner. The food was so delicious and the service was even better. They really made us feel like part of the family. Hands down the best Moussaka I have ever had, better than any I've had back home in Edmonton. Vegetables were fresh and meat cooked to perfection. Props to the cook, he absolutely nailed everything!! I will be taking a road trip just to bring my lady here for a nice meal, totally worth it.Thanks again for the hospitality Plaka, you guys are awesome!!!Shane

I went into Plaka on December 15th, I called in for a reservation and was told they were more than willing to accommodate me although they were very busy. I appreciated the accommodation and being informed that it may be very full. When I got there I was immediately greeted at the door by a server with a menu in hand and they had my table set for me. The food was phanominal and I was given very generous portions, after being given my appetizers I was given a sufficient amount of time to enjoy my food before my main dish came out meaning I did not feel rushed. The servers were both very personable and professional as one shared stories of Ancient Greece the other was very informative about any questions I had and made a point to inform the chef of my allergies. Such a beautiful and inspiring atmosphere. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and family.5 star review for 5 star service and food!

Place was BUSY but still got served quickly and my meal was up in no time. Definitely on my go to list from now on.

Thoroughly impressed with the selection of traditional dishes, but more so with the excellent personal service and conversation with Christos the proprietor.Kolokithokeftedes, Dolmades, Moussaka, and a glass of Retsina was a perfect share for two.

We just had take out for Mother's day and it was to die for! Our family of five was moaning and groaning through the whole meal. It was amazing! Thank you!

This has to be the best Greek food I've ever had! You can really tell that the owner spares no expense acquiring the finest ingredients and combining flavors in a truly authentic yet unique fashion. The service was some of the best I've come across in a long time and surely made my feel appreciated as a customer. All in all I can't say enough about Plaka and the fine team running the place. This is a must try restaurant for anyone in search of a casual/fine dining experience at a more than fair price!Full recommendation, absolutely incredible!
